The public web workflow supports short-form text-to-video and image-to-video generation. Seedance 2.0 is paid, and current public outputs top out at 720p and 15 seconds.
Text to Video
Write a prompt, choose a ratio, duration, and resolution, then render a short-form clip in the current web app.
Image to Video
Use one reference image as the starting frame when you need stronger control over the subject or composition.
Model Access
Starter credits apply to Seedance 1.5 Pro. Seedance 2.0 is a paid upgrade in the current web app.
Visible Limits
Current public output options top out at 480p or 720p, with a maximum of 12s on Seedance 1.5 Pro and 15s on Seedance 2.0.
Credit-Based Rendering
Generation cost depends on the selected model and duration, so the UI can show the tradeoff before you render.
Downloadable Output
Completed renders can be downloaded as MP4, and the current app surfaces queueing and paid-plan priority clearly.
